Thanks to a specially designed ratchet mechanism, turning the crown immediately delivers a pleasant winding experience. Through the sapphire case back, you can literally feel the excellence of the craftsmanship behind the in-house “Chutima 617” caliber.
The three-quarter plate with its fine-striped finish, the hand-chamfered edges, and the dial—featuring ruby bearings set in gold chatons—carry on the time-honored virtues of Glashütte’s centuries-old watchmaking tradition.
The openworked balance cock offers an unobstructed view of the free-swinging system, complete with a hand-bent Breguet hairspring. The screw-set balance is meticulously hand-adjusted before marking the Patria’s precise beat at 21,600 vibrations per hour. When fully wound, the movement provides a power reserve of at least 65 hours.
