This minimalist design, born from a thorough pursuit of functionality, is inspired by the work of Max Bill, the “last master of the Bauhaus” and the origin of modern design. The design draws inspiration from the architecture of the Bauhaus school in Dessau; the dial evokes the school’s white walls, while the red date display represents its famous red entrance.
