In addition to incorporating a silicon escapement and anchor in the Caliber 400, the movement utilizes more than 30 non-ferrous and anti-magnetic components. In tests conducted by the renowned Dubois Laboratory, the Caliber 400 recorded a daily deviation of within 10 seconds after being exposed to a magnetic field of 2,250 gauss for a full day.The latest ISO 764 standard for magnetic resistance specifies a daily deviation of no more than 30 seconds after one day of exposure to 200 gauss.The Caliber 400 limits its daily deviation to one-third of the standard value when exposed to a magnetic field 11 times stronger than that standard. This is equivalent to a magnetic resistance of approximately 180,000 A/m, which is more than 90% superior to standard ETA/Selita movements.
