On October 19, I attended the opening ceremony for the La Festa Mille Miglia 2018 classic car race ^_^

When I arrived at Meiji Jingu around 9:00 a.m.,

Look, there are already people lined up, ready to be photographed!

This is this year's La Festa poster, isn't it!

The race pace cars are all luxury cars from our sponsoring manufacturers!

As you walk past Meiji Shrine...

I can see the entrance, so I show my pass and walk through.

It was a real madhouse—people, people, people, cars, cars, cars, cars.

Sure enough, the person surrounded by the press was Masaaki Sakai! He’s the one by the green arrow.

Well, that was just a small sample, but nearly 100 classic cars set off!

There were nothing but classic cars, but along the way I saw someone wearing a La Festa model, so I asked if I could take a photo—they really pulled off the Terracello Mare look perfectly.

Seeing all those stylish cars and so many fashionable people participating really made me want a La Festa Model.
Since it starts on the 19th and ends on the 22nd, I imagine they’re currently driving toward the finish line at Meiji Shrine today! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for everyone’s safe driving and accident-free journey!
